デザイナーの玉木新雌が播州織の産地、兵庫県西脇に移り住み、
自らの手で織機を使い、思い描く一枚を作り上げています。
播州織は、兵庫県の北播磨で生産されている綿織物。
寛政4年（1792年）に遡るほど長い歴史があり、
先に糸を染めて、多彩な柄に織り上げる先染織物が特徴です。
糸は織れる限界までゆるく、織機のスピードはぎりぎりまで低速で。
手織りのように丁寧に織り上げられる生地は、ふんわりと柔らか。
織り上げられると一枚ずつ縫製し、洗いをかけて天日に干し、
最後まで人の手をかけて、赤ちゃんの肌のようにふっくらやさしく。
洗っても風合いをそこなうことなく、ずっと気兼ねなく、気持ちよく、
お手入れが簡単なことにもこだわってつくられています。
色にあふれる、年齢も性別も選ばない、
ショールやウェアを提案しています。
こちらはtamaki niimeのルーツショールのミドルサイズです。
素材はウール70％、コットン30％。
色のバリエーションと、ふわりとした巻き心地や軽やかさにこだわって、ゆるやかに織りあげられています。
ミドルサイズは長さ約190cm、幅約54cmと扱いやすいサイズなので首元のショールとしてはもちろん、羽織ものとしても活躍します。

織上がれば、裁断をして、一枚一枚丁寧に縫製をして、洗いをかけ、天日干しにしてつくりあげていきます。
少量生産、オンリーワンにこだわった個性を楽しめる作品です。

※一つ一つ洗いをかけているので多少サイズに誤差があります。
