19世紀末のフランス軍における軍用説明書スカーフNo.2です。
多くの読み書きのできない兵士のためにイラスト入りの教材として支給されたスカーフ13種類のうち2番目で、薄手のコットンに全面プリントされた1874年製ライフルの分解再組み立て説明書です。
精細なイラストと文字、落ち着いたレッドの色合いがとても良い雰囲気、美しい品です。
端部分に繕い跡、僅かなくすみ汚れがありますが年代用途を考えるとかなり良い状態の逸品です。
滅多に出会えない前々世紀の貴重な実物ですのでご検討ください。
